Bryan Russell, R.A. After graduating from Mississippi State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, he embarked on what has now been over three decades of architectural, professional practice. He became a Registered Architect in 1996. Before moving to Atlanta he began his career working in Malibu, California on the design of commercial office buildings and small retail facilities. Having visited Atlanta and fallen in love with the city, he moved and worked on designing large commercial office space, small commercial facilities, small retail facilities, country clubs, restaurants, multi-family residential apartments, and residential clubhouses. Because of the diverse background of projects he was able to work on, he found his true passion was in residential projects. And thus, in 2000 Bryan founded Dencity to fulfill his desire to design modern residential. Bryan lives with his wife, two sons, and two dogs in Grant Park. When not designing architecture, he loves playing with and coaching his boys’ high school tennis team. EMAIL BRYAN
Erica Loesing began working with Dencity in 2006 while completing her Masters in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She was recently awarded a partnership at the firm. Erica has worked exclusively with Dencity through her professional career, feeling lucky to have found a firm so early on that shares her commitment to thoughtful residential design on a wide variety of scales and budgets. Her love of residential design began as a child, having grown up with a contractor dad and spending a lot of time in the homes he was building. Erica brings a general understanding of the built form to the table along with a high level of design. During her education, Erica was awarded the top honor for Outstanding Achievement of her graduating class, was selected as one of two students to present her work to architect Frank Gehry, and invited to contribute renderings to HGTV. She is a multi-faceted designer, having completed her undergraduate degree in Studio Art, who is constantly inspired and incorporating other mediums into her design work. Architecture is her true passion, achieving her projects through brainstorming and collaborating, collecting ideas and combining them into one holistic experience of the space. Ultimately, she loves designing the spaces where people live their lives, and the smaller, more intimate scale of homes. Erica lives with her husband, two kids, and two dogs in Atlanta. When not designing architecture, she loves yoga and gardening. EMAIL ERICA
Ali Knox, Allied ASID Ali officially joined the Dencity team in early 2019. Since graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2010 she has had the opportunity to work with some award-winning designers and ultimately create her own design firm + shop. She has designed interiors across Georgia with varying styles and aesthetics but always maintained a love of modern design. Her passion of collaborating and designing timeless, holistic spaces brought her to Dencity where her interior focus both complements the architecture and reflects each client’s individual story. Ali’s strength lies in seeing a project through from conception to completion, thoughtfully weaving each client’s unique style into the overall design, making each and every project feel meaningful and personal. On the weekends you can find Ali enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two children at their home just outside of Atlanta. EMAIL ALI
